The newly established PET-CT Scan facility under the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Daya General Hospital, Thrissur, was inaugurated on 24 September 2026 by Shri K. Muraleedharan, Minister for Health, Government of Kerala.
The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Dr. T. K. Raveendran, Chairman, Daya General Hospital. Dr. V. K. Abdul Azeez, Managing Director, delivered the keynote address, while Mr. K. Jayarajan, Administrator, delivered the welcome address.
Shri Rajan J. Pallan, MLA, Thrissur Assembly Constituency, was the Chief Guest. Shri A. V. Krishna Mohan, Division Councillor, Dr. Fazil Abubaker C. P., Director, Daya General Hospital, and Mr. Rahul K. Krishnan, CFO, Daya General Hospital, felicitated the occasion and shared their wishes.
The ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Abdul Jabbar M. M., Director, Daya General Hospital.
