Daya Nursing Excellence Awards 2026 is an initiative by Daya General Hospital to recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions of nurses and nursing teams across Kerala.

These awards aim to honor individuals and teams who have made a meaningful impact in patient care, innovation, teamwork, and community health. By acknowledging their dedication and achievements, we strive to inspire a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in the nursing profession.

With categories such as the Daya Beacon Award for Best Nursing Team and the Daya Nurse Changemaker Award for Best Nurse, this platform provides an opportunity for deserving professionals to gain recognition for their hard work and commitment.

We invite nursing professionals and healthcare institutions across Kerala to be a part of this prestigious recognition and showcase their excellence in care.

Daya Beacon Award for Excellence in Nursing Team – ₹50,000

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nursing teams working in healthcare institutions in Kerala
  • Minimum 2 years of team functioning
  • No disciplinary actions in the past 2 years

Nomination Process

  • Nominations can be submitted by the institution or team lead
  • Approval from your Hospital Administration is mandatory
Submission Deadline: 10 May 2026

What to Submit & Evaluation Criteria

Total: 100 Marks

  • Team Coordination (Max. 500 words) – 20 marks
  • Patient Outcomes (Max. 500 words) – 20 marks
  • Quality & Safety Practices (Max. 500 words) – 20 marks
  • Innovation / Quality Improvement Projects (Max. 500 words) – 15 marks
  • Patient Satisfaction (Max. 500 words) – 15 marks
  • Documentation & Compliance (Max. 500 words) – 10 marks

Eligibility Criteria

  • Registered nursing professionals currently working in Kerala
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
  • No disciplinary actions in the past 2 years

Nomination Process

  • Nominations can be submitted by the candidate or the institution
  • Approval from Nursing Superintendent / Medical Director / Hospital Administration is required
  • Self-nominations are accepted with valid supporting documents

  • Clinical Excellence (Max. 500 words) – 20 marks
  • Patient Care Initiatives (Max. 500 words) – 20 marks
  • Quality Improvement Contributions (Max. 500 words) – 20 marks
